Jaipur: The visit of a group of five girls to Sikar turned horrific when two of them were allegedly abducted late Monday, September 23 by SUV-borne men. The police launched a search operation after three friends approached cops and informed them about the alleged kidnapping incident.
One of the girls – a resident of Uttam Nagar told media that she along with her four friends had come from Delhi for a personal visit. After they had dinner at a hotel situated in the Depot area on September 23 night while waiting for a bus some youths in an SUV offered to drop them at Jaipur.
The youths forced three of the five girls out of the vehicle at Gokulpura Tiraha and took the remaining two with them.
The girls then rushed to the police station and informed them about the kidnapping. The police put up barricades at all the exit routes of the city, but the kidnappers couldn’t be traced.
“It has come up during preliminary investigation that the girls are from West Bengal. Further investigation is going on,” a police officer was quoted as saying in The Pinkcity Post report.
